Scientists of Yekaterinburg-based Ural Federal University (UrFU) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) have agreed to start joint research into the spectral properties of new photonic and electronic materials, the UrFU press service announced last week. There will be a wide range of areas to focus on, including special nanodimensional heterostructures with semiconducting quantum dots.
