Finland to host Russian-European Innovation Forum and the EBN CongressThe third Russian-European Innovation Forum and the 21st Congress of the European Association of business incubators and innovation centers (EBN) will take place in June13-15, 2012 in Finland. The activities aimed at promoting international cooperation.

The various formats of participation allow companies to become Innovation exhibitors or participants of MoneyTalks Forum meeting to establish business contacts. At this event, entrepreneurs will be able to find partners or investors, and to discuss development issues, international co-operation and output of business in Europe.
In addition to networking events, the themes of the Forum will be covered by over a hundred speakers from various countries. Finland will be represented by the Minister of Economic Affairs Yuri Hyakyamies, Jouni Keronen from the Fortum company, Mikka Okkola from Microsoft and Harri Koponen representing the Rovio Entertainments company.

European Commission will be presented by Christian Weinberger, Directorate General for Enterprise and Industry, Peter reggae, Directorate General for Cooperation and Christer Hammarlund, Directorate General for Information and Public Relations. Franz Salzberg will represent European Space Agency.

Pekka Vilyakaynen will represent the Russian Skolkovo Fund at the events in Finland. The following representatives from authority have confirmed their participation: President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, as well as the head of the Department of International Integration, Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation Igor Protsenko. In addition to speakers from the European countries, representatives of China and the United States have also confirmed their participation.

Sessions of the first day of the Forum are dedicated to cooperation in research, energy and business development. The sessions of the second day will cover such areas as logistics, nanotechnology, energy efficiency, and present concrete examples of successful international business development. The entering of business the international markets will be considered in the context of internationalization of the company, market positioning, working with open innovation and finance.

The third day programs will cover topical issues of energy efficiency and energy supply in large cities, as well as venture development of large corporations. The day will end with an award ceremony of the best international business incubator and the best innovative business idea.
