Open Competition of Innovative Projects of Russian defense-industrial sector
The First Open Competition of Innovative Projects of Russian defense-industrial sector, initiated by State Corporation Russian Technologies, launched in June 27, 2012 as a part of the business program of the Second International Forum Engineering Technologies - 2012. The contest is aimed at enhancing the transfer of advanced technology of defense industry to civilian industry to place developments and innovative products created by the Russian defense industry to the market, as well as at the establishment of interaction with universities and defense organizations.
The aim of the competition is the involvement of defense enterprises in the development of innovative economy based on the formation of a new trend of diversification of their activities based on design, manufacture and marketing of high-tech civilian products.
The competition was supported by the federal executive authorities (Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, Ministry of Industry of Russia, Russian Ministry of Education), large companies with state participation (JSC NK Rosneft, JSC RZD , OJSC UES FGC, etc.), domestic development institutions (OJSC RVC, RTDF, the Skolkovo Fund), defense companies, universities, research institutes and other organizations. Competition partners are leading companies of domestic industry.
The competition has four categories: 1. Best Development (R & D) of a world-class innovation product, 2. Best Innovation Product 3. Best Innovation Business 4. The best management team of innovation project.
The contest invited Russian defense companies, industrial and scientific organizations, universities, innovative companies and individuals. Projects that meet the established criteria and aimed at the creation and promotion of competitive innovative products and services to commercial and domestic markets are accepted for consideration.
Winners of the competition will receive cash prizes and valuable gifts, the ability to find investors to finance future projects.
