A unique laboratory - Samsung Android Lab opened in KFUA unique laboratory - Samsung Android Lab opened on July, 25 at Kazan University, which will train developers of Android applications. There are no laboratory analogues in Kazan. The task of the new laboratory will include students training, as well as the creation of technical basis for the entire process of applications development - from idea to testing on various Samsung Android devices.

According to a press release of the University, the solemn event was preceded by the signing of a cooperation agreement, which was attended by the Minister of RT Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov, the rector of KFU Ilshat Gafurov, a representative of Samsung Yevgeny Vasilyev, the director of Higher School of ITIS Airat Hasyanov and a leading developer of Samsung Alexander Kolesnikov.

The meeting was opened by the Rector of KFU Ilshat Gafurov: We have signed a framework agreement with Samsung, and today we see how it works. The leaders of the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazan University are interested in the continuation and development of cooperation with this company.

The Minister of Information and Communication of RT Roman Shaikhutdinov said: Such companies are welcome in our country. From the practical aspects, we see the participation of State Informatization - the ability to implement and expand the range of state information system users through the Android OS. We would like to obtain a working product. Currently, Tatarstan is one of the most qualified subjects. We would like to wish the company and Kazan Federal University trust and further cooperation.

According to Yevgeny Vasilyev, Samsung has an ambitious, but achievable goal. Today's event - he said - is an important step towards the implementation of our agreement. We look to the future and plan the next project - to equip one of the KFU classrooms with IT-solution for educational institutions, which is called Samsung smart school. We believe that Kazan is the IT capital of Russia, and the University of Kazan is its center. We hope that the results of our cooperation will be of federal level.

Leading developer of Samsung Alexander Kolesnikov pledged that will share his best with students. We get not only the hardware, but also extensive experience of the company. - Airat Hasyanov said, the director of ITIS. One of the main features of the laboratory is the direct involvement and support of Samsung engineers. If necessary, the laboratory staff can consult technical experts of the company on mutual interests.
