1.2 B RUR to be allocated to establish a medical science center in Kazan  A medical science Center will be in Kazan by 2014. To date, the project involves Ltd. Eidos, IPG Company, Russian Ministry of Health and Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.

As Lenar Valeev told, the Deputy Director of Eidos, the purpose of this project will be the creation of a medical science Center which will increase the overall level of medicine in Russia due to the development and promotion of national designs both in applied and scientific medicine. The center of medical science will develop the area of innovative medical products developments, post-graduate education, improve the skills of health workers in high-tech medicine, to create and adopt new drugs.

According Lenara Valeev, the project is implemented under the direction of Eidos-medicine. It may include any foreign and domestic medical, innovative companies, educational institutions, etc. Even today, they consider an Israeli company engaged in stem cell treatment.

The total cost of investment in the project is 1.2 B RUR. The initiator of the project is LLC Eidos and it plans to invest 300 M RUR in the construction of the facility and its development. The Government of the Republic of Tatarstan intends to allocate 450 M RUR for these purposes. The center is supposed to create 3K jobs.

According to Lenar Valeev, the Center for Medical Science will be the largest one in Russia for medical training in 32 specialties. Every year at the Training simulation Center, which will be located in the Center, about 1500 specialists will be trained on medical simulators. Hundreds of thousands of virtual operations will be performed at the center of medical science.

The amount of investment in the creation and development of the Training Center is $5M. According Lenar Valeev, the opening of the Centre of Medical Sciences will increase the efficiency and level of medicine in Russia, the image of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation and in the world, ria-ami.ru reports.
