Mail.Ru Group launches service for charity “Dobro Mail.ru”

The company Mail.Ru Group launches online service “Dobro Mail.Ru” that allows users to take part in Russian Charity charitable organizations work, which help children, people in difficult situations, senior citizens, and in projects on environmental protection or homeless animals care, said on press-conference on Wednesday the Chief Mail.Ru Group Dmitry Grishin.

Users of this service can make donation in favor of organization or file an application on participation in the volunteer project. It is possible to transfer money in favor of the Fund online via bank card, electronic wallet or from a mobile account. Small commission will be charged for payment – thus, commission of the service Dengi@Mail.ru will comprise 0,01%. Minimun payment is now 100 rubles, but, according to the Chief of the Aleksandra Babkina project, the company considers the opportunity of its decrease up to 25 rubles.

The Funds to which service cooperated with, undergo legal and reputable examine. Separately at the site there are urgent projects, for example, fund raising for making surgery to children. At its own account a user can indicate its skills, which can be useful for charitable organizations, and trace the course of the projects, which he has already supported. The Funds in its turn, can search for potential charity providers depending on the region, its profession or skills.

“In modern Russia there is still no one-to-one relation to charity, and few people know that it is possible to help not only with money, but act. Herewith most people need help, and people more readily take part in charity, if they possess clear and true information about existing projects and campaign”, - noted Mr.Grishin. According to director of the Fund “Children's Hearts” Ekaterina Bermant, “Dobro Mail.ru” allows even small charitable organizations to enter big audience without expenses for the own site support.
