“Will Russia become one of the leaders in high-technologies production?”

The Department of science, industrial policy and entrepreneurism of the Moscow city, The Innovation Development Center jointly with the Technopolis “Moscow” will become partners of the project Debate Night, the regular event of which will be held in October, 1 in the Congress-center of Technopolis “Moscow”. This tie there will be discussed the question “Will Russia become one of the leaders in high-technologies production?”.

In the hot discussion will take part 250 representatives of the business society in Russia, political elite of the country, Chiefs of social and economical associations. As intellectual partners of the event will become the Skolkovo Fund and National Research University “Higher School of Economics”, which will prepare analytical report – situation analysis and recommendations of the debate subject.

“On the basis of my experience in the Moscow Government, I can state, that development of Russian high technologies is one of the most priority directions of economy strategy of the Government, - says Aleksey Komissarov, Chief of Department of science, industrial policy and entrepreneurism of the Moscow city. – and, of course, in our country nowadays there are all required resources for this task realization”.

Konstantin Fokin, director general of the Moscow Innovation Development Center: “Not taking into consideration definite problems, I am optimistic. If not to follow the way of “catching-up development”, but use own unique peculiarities, then we will be able to achieve many goals. Nowadays some Russian companies are the recognized global leaders in their branches”.

Within the limits of the project there will also be conducted the road-show of projects, where perspective companies in the sphere of innovation production will present their projects by the following directions:

• Nano-systems and applied nano-technologies
