As news portal reports, innovators in Siberia?s Krasnoyarsk offer regional universities their new LangPrism translation service. The developer behind the project is Prism, a resident of the Krasnoyarsk KRITBI Innovation Technology Incubator. According to Alexander Efremov, the CEO of Prism, ?LangPrism can enable students to have web-posted articles translated and their professors to leave comments and edits in texts translated by the students.? He believes that the scope of LangPrism?s applications is much wider. Universities could use the service to also create a database of their scientific publications in a variety of languages, covering various research areas. The project has already been test-run in a number of Siberian universities.
