Dmitry Medvedev to hold a meeting in Rostov on innovation in the economy  Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will hold a meeting on innovative development of economy in Rostov-na-Donu at bakery holding Yug Rusi, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers says.

It is planned to discuss the development of agriculture, fuel and energy complexes in the structure of the Russian economy. Special attention will be paid to the interaction between business, science and development institutions.

The meeting will be attended by the Deputy Prime Ministers Vladislav Surkov and Arkady Dvorkovich, Deputy Chairman of State Duma Sergei Zheleznyak, Energy Minister Alexander Novak, Agriculture Minister Nikolai Fyodorov, the presidential envoy in the Southern Federal District Vladimir Ustinov, head of regions, representatives of relevant ministries and departments, heads of industrial companies and universities.

Dmitry Medvedev will also visit a high-tech oil extraction plant of group of companies Yug Rusi. He will see production departments and familiarize with the technology of food production, fuel granules, and plans for biofuels production.
