The first Skolkovo Institute professors to be announced in June

According to Edward Crowley, the President of Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, will be the names of the first professors selected to work as SkolTech teachers, a key element of the Russian Skolkovo innovation center will be announced in June.

The selection of candidates for the SkolTech Professors posts was launched in December 2011, one of the claims presented to the candidates was participating in the work of the teaching staff of leading international research laboratories or universities.

If you look at (the SkolTech organization) through the prism of the creating academic institutions, it (the choice of the first professors in six months - ed.) is a very quick process, - RIA Novosti quoted Crowley’s speech at Skolkovo industrial park Forum on Thursday.

In addition, SkolTech plans to announce the names of his first students in May, and over the next two months SkolTech will determine the first composition of its research centers, created in partnership with Russian and foreign universities.
